Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet split after 4 years of marriage

Jason Momoa, 42, and wife Lisa Bonet, 54, announced their separation in a joint statement on Momoa’s Instagram Wednesday.

The statement read: “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring,” the joint statement read. “And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage.”

“We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty,” the statement continued. “The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become…”

The statement concluded, “Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life our children. Teaching our children what’s possible. Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail✨ J & L.”

The couple started dating in 2004 after being introduced by mutual friends at a jazz club.  In July 2007, the pair had their first child, Lola, and welcomed their second child, Nakoa-Wolf, in December 2008.  Bonet also shares daughter Zoë Kravitz, 33, with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz, whom she was married to from 1987-1993.  While it was widely believed that Momoa and Bonet married in 2007, the couple actually were married in October 2017.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly announce their engagement

Actress Megan Fox and musician Machine Gun Kelly are engaged.

On Wednesday, Fox wrote in the caption of an Instagram post announcing the engagement:  “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.  Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.  And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes … and then we drank each other’s blood.”

Kelly wrote on his Instagram along with a picture of the couple’s ring: “Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me. I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love. 1-11-2022.”

The pair met in March of 2020 while filming “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” and the couple confirmed their relationship in June 2020. This will be MGK’s first marriage, and Fox’s second.  Fox was married to ‘90210’ actor Brian Austin Green for 10 years, with whom she shares three sons.

Scorpions announce release date of new single, ‘Rock Believer’

Scorpions have revealed that their new single, “Rock Believer”, will be released on Thursday, January 13 at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET.  “Rock Believer” is the title track from the band’s 19th studio album, which will be released on February 25.

Scorpions released the official music video for Rock Believer’s first single, “Peacemaker,” about two months ago.  When asked in a recent interview what fans can expect to hear on “Rock Believer”, singer Klaus Meine said: “Well, you can expect an album that is dedicated to all the rock believers in the world. And we’re very excited after all these years. We thought, when you think about all the touring we did the last 10 years, after the release of Return To Forever in 2015, the time was right to go back into the studio, to write new material, to write new songs and check out if the creativity is still working. The big aim was, the goal was to make a rock album — to make an album with lots of attitude, power and focus on the good old times and really enjoy the music and have some fun with the music. And that feels really good.”
