Take a look at the Season 6 Trailer for the final season of ‘This Is Us’

The final season of ‘This Is Us’ is ahead, and in the first trailer for Season 6, Rebecca (Mandy Moore) looks back at some of her favorite memories. As “Time After Time” (sung by Chrissy Metz aka Kate) plays, Rebecca says: “Sometimes I think about what my very last memory will be before the candle goes out. I don’t know how much longer I have before things get worse. … I’m not worried about forgetting about the big stuff. It’s the little things I’m not ready to let go of.”

As she speaks, we see flashbacks to key moments throughout the series, showing Rebecca when she was younger and dating Jack (Milo Ventimiglia), Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) comforting each other, and the three Pearson siblings celebrate their birthdays as ‘the Big Three’.  The trailer also teases Kate’s future marriage to Phillip (Chris Geere) as he stares at her longingly. The season five finale showed us their wedding, shocking everyone that it wasn’t Toby.

The sixth and final season of “This Is Us” will premiere on Jan. 4, 2022, and will consist of 18 episodes.  Check out the Season 6 trailer – here.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr pay tribute to George Harrison on the 20th anniversary of his death

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr shared tributes online to George Harrison on the 20th anniversary of their late Beatles bandmate’s death. Harrison died on Nov. 29, 2001 at age 58, following a battle with cancer. The anniversary of Harrison’s death arrives on the heels of The Beatles: Get Back documentary, which premiered on Disney+ last week. The documentary focuses on footage shot during the making of the group’s final album, Let It Be.

McCartney wrote on Twitter: “Hard to believe that we lost George 20 years ago. I miss my friend so much. Love, Paul.”  Back in 2001, McCartney told reporters on the day Harrison died that he was thankful to have had a final visit with Harrison: “He was still laughing and joking, very brave man. I’m just privileged to have known him and I love him like he’s my brother. It’s a very sad day for me and for a lot of other people, but I think he would have wanted us to get on and be loving and remember him as the great man he was.”

In a separate post, Starr said: “Peace and love to you, George. I miss you man. Peace and love, Ringo.” Starr saw Harrison for the last time in Switzerland, where he was being treated for his illness. Said Ringo in the 2011 Harrison documentary “Living in the Material World”: “I was going to Boston, ’cause my daughter had a brain tumor. And I said, ‘Well, I gotta go to Boston,’ and [Harrison] goes — they’re the last words I heard him say, actually — and he said, ‘Do you want me to come with ya?’ So that’s the incredible side of George.”

Kevin Spacey to pay $31M for breaching ‘House of Cards’ contract

Kevin Spacey has been ordered to pay nearly $31 million to TV studio Media Rights Capital (“MRC”) for breaching his contract with the TV series ‘House of Cards’, due to behavior leading up to his 2017 termination from the Netflix show amid allegations of sexual misconduct.

MRC filed a petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court revealing the actor was ordered to pay the eight-figure sum after a “confidential,” closed-door arbitration proceeding that ended with the judgment that Spacey failed to overturn on appeal. The new filing is asking the court to confirm the award.  MRC says the secret proceeding included more than 20 depositions and an eight-day evidentiary hearing in front of a neutral arbitrator. The arbitrator found that Spacey “repeatedly breached” his contractual obligations in each of the five House of Cards seasons that he starred in and executive-produced, according to the paperwork. The arbitrator found MRC “had no choice” but to halt production of the show’s sixth season, remove Spacey’s character from the script and shorten the season from 13 to eight episodes “upon the revelations of Spacey’s pattern of harassment.”

The 62-year-old Spacey was filming the sixth and final season of the show in Oct. 2017, when accusations arose that Spacey attempted to have sex with actor Anthony Rapp at a party at his house in 1986 when Rapp was only 14 years old. Days later, allegations from eight anonymous House of Cards crew members were released, accusing Spacey of “predatory” behavior. Spacey said he didn’t recall the alleged incident with Rapp, but if it did occur, it was “deeply inappropriate drunken behavior.” He later said he was seeking treatment and has largely withdrawn from public life.
