Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers split, ending one year engagement

Actress Shailene Woodley and NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers have ended their one-year engagement, after months of rumors and speculation regarding their status. A source told People magazine that the breakup was “amicable” but the relationship “just wasn’t working” due to differing personalities and careers that culminated in “obstacles that they couldn’t surmount.”  Reps for Woodley and Rodgers declined to comment.

Rodgers, 38, and Woodley, 30, began dating in July 2020, after Rodgers split from his girlfriend of two years, NASCAR driver Danica Patrick. After a year of dating, Rodgers and Woodley announced their engagement in February 2021, saying they had been engaged for months.

Fans began to suspect the couple had split when Shailene was photographed surfing in Malibu without her ring back in October. More recently, Aaron failed to mention Shailene in his NFL Honors speech on Feb. 10, where he was named MVP; nor was Shailene in attendance at the ceremony.

Wolfgang Van Halen premieres Mammoth WVH’s video for ‘Epiphany’

Mammoth WVH (the project of Wolfgang Van Halen) has released a video for ”Epiphany,” the third single from the project’s debut album.  The video shows a series of live performances including footage from two headline shows last October, and one show of the band opening for Guns N’ Roses last September. The live band featured in the video includes Van Halen on vocals, keyboards, and guitars, Frank Sidoris and Jon Jourdan on guitars, Ronnie Ficarro on bass, and Garrett Whitlock on drums.

Said Van Halen in a statement: “’Epiphany’ is the song that I always say best represents the core sound of Mammoth WVH. The song was easily the biggest unreleased track and has resonated most with the fans since the album was released last June. That was why it made sense to be a single now. It is also one of the most fun to play live and I can’t wait to get back out on the road and play it on the Young Guns tour.”

Mammoth WVH will be touring across North America in support of their self-titled debut album with co-headliners Dirty Honey of the “Young Guns” tour. The tour will begin on February 20th in Denver and includes 33 dates. Tickets for the tour are available for purchase here.
