Stevie Nicks “24 Karat Gold The Concert” Film Coming To Video-On-Demand

Stevie Nicks 24 Karat Gold The Concert debuted at cinemas worldwide, and now the concert film will be available for fans to rent at home on video-on-demand (VOD) for one week.  The film was first seen in cinemas around the world last week on Wednesday, Oct. 21. 

Pre-orders for the rental are available at StevieNicksFilm.com. The film will be available to view beginning this Thursday, Oct. 29 at 9am PT / 12pm ET. Audiences will then have 48 HOURS to view their rental from purchase. The film will be available to rent until Thursday, Nov 5 at 11:59pm PT. This marks the first VOD release from Trafalgar Releasing, who are pleased to be collaborating with Stevie Nicks and BMG on giving alternate options for fans to be able to watch this film.

Stevie Nicks 24 Karat Gold The Concert reached the number one spot in the UK cinema box office on the night of release. In the US, it reached the number two spot at the box office.

Watch The New Trailer For “Selena: The Series” Starring Christian Serratos

On Monday, Oct. 26th Netflix unveiled the official trailer for the two-part Selena: The Series starring Christian Serratos in the title role of the late Mexican-American singer. 

Selena: The Series comes 23 years after the release of the Oscar-nominated biographical movie Selena directed by Gregory Nava and starring Jennifer Lopez, was developed and executive produced by the Quintanilla family alongside Netflix.

The trailer’s description reads: “Before she became the Queen of Tejano Music, Selena Quintanilla was a young girl from Texas with big dreams and an even bigger voice. Selena: The Series explores her journey from singing small gigs to becoming the most successful female Latin artist of all time — and the years of hard work and sacrifice the Quintanilla family navigated together.”

Along with Serratos, the cast includes Ricardo Chavira as Selena’s father Abraham; Gabriel Chavarria as her brother A.B.; Noemi Gonzalez as her sister Suzette; Seidy Lopez as her mother Marcella; and Madison Taylor Baez as young Selena.

John Frusicante Confirms Red Hot Chili Peppers Are Writing New Music

Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante has revealed that the band is writing and rehearsing for a new album. “We were rehearsing for a couple of months and then the quarantine started, and then we stopped rehearsing for a couple of months and then we went back to rehearsing,” Frusciante said. “We are moving ahead with what we are doing and writing new music.”

Frusciante rejoined the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2019 and played his first show February 8, 2020, at memorial service for late film producer Andrew Burkle. He said being back was like “returning to family.”

The Weeknd And Roddy Ricch Lead The Nominations For The 2020 American Music Awards

The Weeknd and Roddy Ricch lead the American Music Awards 2020 nominations with eight each. The two will compete for the prestigious Artist of the Year award, alongside Justin Bieber, Post Malone and Taylor Swift.

The Weeknd has also scored nods for Favorite Music Video, Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Song, Favorite Pop/Rock Album, Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist, Favorite Soul/R&B Album, and Favorite Soul/R&B Song.

Ricch is up for New Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Favorite Pop/Rock Song (pop/rock), Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Male Artist, Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album, and twice for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Song (including his ‘Rockstar’ collaboration with DaBaby).

Megan Thee Stallion has five nominations, making her the most nominated female artist this year. She is up for New Artist of the Year and has received two nods for Collaboration of the Year for her work with Beyonce on the ‘Savage Remix’ and Cardi B on ‘WAP’. She is also nominated for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Song and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Female Artist.

A partial list of nominees were announced by Dua Lipa on ‘Good Morning America’ on Monday, 10/26, while the rest were revealed on the AMAs Twitter account. This year’s ceremony will be held at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater and will air live on ABC on November 22.

Hilary Duff Announces She Is Pregnant With Third Child

Hilary Duff has announced she’s pregnant with her third child. The actress shared the news on Instagram over the weekend, posting a clip of husband Matthew Koma stroking her baby bump and the caption:  “We are growing!!! Mostly me.”  Koma also shared the big news on his own social media page. “Lol quarantine was fun,” the musician wrote, revealing that “Baby #3” is due in 2021.

The baby will be Duff and Koma’s second together, who welcomed daughter Banks Violet in 2018. Hilary also shares eight-year-old son Luca with her ex-husband, ice hockey pro Mike Comrie.

AC/DC To Debut Video For ‘Shot In The Dark’

AC/DC announced that they will be premiering the music video for their new single, “Shot In The Dark” today during a special stream.

The stream will be taking place at 9:30 AM Eastern time and will feature an “exclusive” conversation with the band and the director of the video, David Mallet. The world premiere of the music video for “Shot In The Dark” will follow. Heart’s Nancy Wilson Shares Cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “The Rising”

Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson will release her debut solo album in early 2021, and now she’s now shared the lead single, a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “The Rising”.

Written in the aftermath of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, “The Rising” arrived as an instant classic. Springsteen wrote from the perspective of a firefighter rushing into the crumbling World Trade Center towers. 

Now with the coronavirus pandemic, Wilson has brought a fresh take on “The Rising.” In a statement, Wilson

explained her reasons for covering the song: “I wanted to make something uplifting and aspirational for those of us who are suffering with all this sickness and loss. I hope this song can help lift our spirits.”

Watch The New Teaser Trailer For Netflix’s ‘The Prom’ Movie Musical

James Corden, Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman and more star in the teaser trailer for Netflix’s upcoming Ryan Murphy movie The Prom. The film, based on the Tony-nominated Broadway musical of the same name, is set to hit select theaters in December and will begin streaming on Dec. 11.

The teaser trailer shows Broadway stars Dee Dee Allen (Streep) and Barry Glickman (Corden) taking a small Indiana town by storm as high-school student, Emma (Jo Ellen Pellman) just wants to go to the prom with her girlfriend (Ariana DeBoe) and celebrate with her friends. The film, directed by Murphy from a screenplay by Broadway scribes Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin, also stars Kerry Washington, Keegan-Michael Key, Tracey Ullman and Mary Kay Place.
