Heart’s Nancy Wilson has released her new video for “Walk Away”, off her first solo album, You And Me.
You and Me was recorded primarily in Wilson’s California home studio. Wilson self-produced the entire project along with assistance from first engineer, Matthew Sabin, and while many of the tracks on the new album are originals, Wilson decided to include her favorite covers, including Pearl Jam’s “Daughter,” Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Boxer” featuring Sammy Hagar, and a cover of the Cranberries “Dreams,” featuring Liv Warfield (Prince) from Wilson’s previous band Roadcase Royale.
Wilson will perform in concert with The Seattle Symphony on Saturday, Oct. 30th, featuring original arrangements of her newest songs from You and Me, as well as hits from Heart. Tickets will go on sale in mid-July.
