Bring Me The Horizon have teamed up with rapper Lil Uzi Vert and Daryl Palumbo of Glassjaw for new single ‘AmEN!’

The band debuted the new single at their show in Budapest; it’s the follow-up to their previous single ‘LosT,’ which was released last month.  Frontman Oli Sykes shares: “I think [‘LosT’] encapsulates exactly how I imagine this next album or EP or whatever you want to call it, is going to sound like,” he explained, adding that it feels like a “really good representation of how I imagine this record to be”, adding that the song feels “more honest” and likened it to “a therapy session with myself”.

STAIND share the video for their new single ‘Lowest In Me’

STAIND has released the music video for their new single, “Lowest In Me,” off the band’s upcoming album, “Confessions Of The Fallen”, which will arrive in September.

In an interview with Billboard, frontman Aaron Lewis said that it took him “a long time to be ready to do another STAIND record. I got really burnt out on digging into the dark corners of my psyche every night to deliver those very deep, dark songs in a manner that was believable and authentic. I needed to step away from it for awhile and do something different. It just came back together naturally.”  He adds about the lyrics to “Lowest In Me:” Everybody has got people in their lives that don’t bring out the good in somebody. Just with what’s going on in the world right now, there’s so many things, so many people that are like, ‘You bring out the lowest in me.’ There’s a lot of factors out there that could fall under the ‘you’ category.”

STAIND and GODSMACK recently announced a 25-city co-headlining 2023 tour, kicking-off on July 18 at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, Missouri, with stops across the U.S. before wrapping up in Austin, Texas at Germania Insurance Amphitheatre on August 31.

Demi Lovato shares rock version of ‘Cool for the Summer’

Demi Lovato is sharing a rock version of one of her biggest pop hits. The new, edgier version of “Cool for the Summer (Rock Version)” features re-recorded vocals and updated production. The original version of “Cool for the Summer” was released eight years ago as the lead single from Lovato’s fifth studio album, Confident. The song went 3x Platinum and peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Club chart.

The release of “Cool for the Summer (Rock Version)” marks the second of Lovato’s hit songs that has been re-recorded with a rock twist; earlier this year, Lovato released “Heart Attack (Rock Version)” in celebration of the original track’s ten year anniversary.  Lovato has performed rock versions of both tracks on her 2022 Holy Fvck Tour, in support of her album of the same name. Holy Fvck saw Lovato return to her rock and pop-punk roots and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, and Top Alternative Albums.

Benedict Cumberbatch’s home attacked by former chef wielding a knife

Benedict Cumberbatch’s London home was attacked and property was damaged by a former chef, Jack Bissell, wielding a fish knife while the actor, his wife Sophie Hunter and their three children were home at the time. A British court heard the case on May 10th involving Bissell, who was charged with kicking through the front garden gate of Cumberbatch’s home, pulling up a plant and throwing it at a garden wall, then spitting at the intercom and tearing it loose with a fish knife.

BBC News reported that Bissell pleaded guilty to criminal damage at the home located at Wood Green Crown Court on May 10th. The 35-year-old Bissell was fined £250, and given a three-year restraining order preventing him from going near Cumberbatch’s family and their residential area. It is not clear why Bissell targeted Cumberbatch and he offered no defense in court. Bissell has a previous conviction for theft, and in 2015 he was photographed being arrested during protests against military intervention in Syria in central London.

Hollywood Vampires forced to postpone tour after Johnny Depp suffers ankle fracture

The Hollywood Vampires have been forced to postpone their U.S. Tour after band member Johnny Depp suffered an ankle fracture.  Depp turned to social media to give his fans a health update, sharing that he’s under strict doctor’s orders and that medical professionals advised him to restrain from traveling and rest his ankle. The musician previously performed at Royal Albert Hall in England and made an appearance at Cannes Film Festival.

Said Depp: “My Dear Friends, I am sorry to say that I have fractured my ankle, which is a drag!!! It began as a hairline break, but somewhere between Cannes and the Royal Albert Hall, it got worse rather than better. Several medical professionals have strongly suggested I avoid any and all activity for the moment and so am sadly unable to travel at this time … To that end, the guys and I are very sorry to miss you in New Hampshire, Boston, and New York but fear not, I promise we will bring an amazing show to all of you in Europe and bring our absolute best to the East Coast later this summer and make it up to those who have paid for those shows!!!”

Depp’s message was also shared on the Hollywood Vampires social media account alongside the rescheduled dates. The group — comprised of Depp, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, Alice Cooper, and Tommy Henriksen – will now visit the East Coast in late July, making stops in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 28, Manchester, New Hampshire, on July 29, and Bethel, New York, on July 30 at the Bethel Woods Center For The Arts.

Kim Cattrall returning for cameo in Season 2 of ‘And Just Like That…’

Samantha Jones is back. Kim Cattrall will be reprising her role as Samantha Jones for the Season 2 finale of Max’s ‘And Just Like That…’, the revival of HBO’s hit sitcom, Sex and the City. Max confirmed the news on social media, retweeting an article from the New York Post with the caption: “Secret’s out…”

Cattrall starred as publicist Samantha Jones for six seasons on the HBO series — alongside Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York Goldenblatt. She also reprised the character for two subsequent films.  Cattrall’s return comes as a surprise since she has repeatedly said that she would never return to the series, due in part to her very public feud with former Sex and the City co-star Sarah Jessica Parker. In May 2022, Cattrall spoke with Variety about leaving behind the character of Samantha Jones, saying: “It’s a great wisdom to know when enough is enough… I also didn’t want to compromise what the show was to me.”

Cattrall is set to make a cameo appearance in the cliffhanger finale for the second season of  ‘And Just Like That…’ Variety reported that Cattrall reportedly shot only one scene for the episode, filming it in one day back in March. The new season of the spinoff series will also feature John Corbett’s anticipated return as Aidan; and showrunner Michael Patrick King confirmed that Candice Bergen, who played Carrie Bradshaw’s Vogue editor, Enid Frick, on SATC and in the first of the franchise’s films, is officially reprising her role in the new season as well.

Season 2 of ‘And Just Like That…’ officially debuts on Max on June 22.
