Vanessa Hudgens expecting first child with husband Cole Tucker

Vanessa Hudgens and husband Cole Tucker are expecting their first baby together, three months after they were married. This will be the first child for both Hudgens and Tucker.

Hudgens, 34, revealed her pregnancy as she walked the 96th Academy Awards red carpet while showing off her baby bump in a floor-length black turtleneck dress accessorized with Chopard jewelry, including a white gold necklace with a 10.06-carat pear-shaped yellow diamond and 29.88-carats of diamonds, along with matching diamond earrings and diamond rings from the Haute Joaillerie Collection.

Hudgens exchanged vows with Tucker, a professional baseball player, on Dec. 2, 2023 in Tulum, Mexico in a secret wedding. The pregnancy news comes after Hudgens denied pregnancy rumors in October, after photos from her bachelorette trip to Aspen which showed her wearing baggy clothing — sparked baby speculation.

The couple met via a meditation Zoom hosted by Joe Jonas amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and the actress was first spotted holding hands with the baseball player in November 2020. They made their relationship Instagram official the following February.

Drummer Jay Weinberg officially joins Suicidal Tendencies

Several months after parting ways with Slipknot, drummer Jay Weinberg announced he has joined Suicidal Tendencies.  Greyson Nekrutman played drums for Suicidal Tendencies in 2023, after the band hired him last April.

Weinberg first teased the news sharing a blurry photo of himself playing drums on X with the caption, “Tomorrow. 9AM PST.”  In a later post, he released a statement on his new gig, writing “You can’t bring me down”. Weinberg’s statement read: “When I think of the culture and community of heavy music that I’ve loved and considered my creative home for 20 years, I think of Suicidal Tendencies. A foundational pillar and source of inspiration ever since I fell in love with punk, metal and hardcore. Having toured and played shows together all over the world, I’ve been so fortunate to become friends with my musical heroes who have been a part of this band’s incredible history. It’s an absolute honor and privilege to play with Suicidal Tendencies, and I can’t wait to start this incredibly exciting new chapter in just one week! See you all in the pit!”

Slipknot announced that they were parting ways with Weinberg shortly after he performed with the band at Mexico’s Hell and Heaven Festival this past November. A few days later, the drummer shared that he was “heartbroken and blindsided,” and had only heard the news from the band right before they publicly announced his departure on their social media. Weinberg wrote at the time: “I love playing the drums. I’ll always love playing the drums. I’ll always have a passion for music, art, and creative expression. Nothing will ever change that. I don’t know how, and I don’t know when, but I look forward to creating loud, passionate, and heartfelt music that we enjoy together again.”

Weinberg is set to play his first show as Suicidal Tendencies’ new drummer at their next scheduled performance, set to take place Thursday, March 14 in Osaka, Japan. Check out the rest of the band’s tour dates on their website.
