The ‘Deep Purple 2024 Tour with Yes’ will kick-off on August 14 in Hollywood, Florida at Hard Rock Live, and concludes on Sept. 8 in Scranton, Pennsylvania at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 12th via the band’s website or through Ticketmaster.

John Fogerty adds second leg to ‘The Celebration Tour’

John Fogerty announced a new leg of shows on his previously announced ‘The Celebration Tour’. The tour will mark the first time Fogerty performs his music since finally acquiring ownership of his back catalog of songs with Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Fogerty’s social media read: 🚨NEW DATES ADDED🚨 Get ready to celebrate! We’ve added new dates to the tour, and @georgethorogoodofficial, @heartyhar, and I are bringing the party to a city near you! Tickets are on sale Friday at 10am Local at JOHNFOGERTY.COM/TOUR”

As previously announced, ‘The Celebration Tour’ begins on June 2 in South Carolina, with the newly-announced second leg of his tour concluding with a stop at Salt Lake City on Sept. 11. George Thorogood and the Destroyers will be opening for Fogerty on most dates, and shared in a statement: “Celebrating the music of John Fogerty at the same time we celebrate our 50th Anniversary is just about as good as it can get. I’m looking forward to being out there with my friend, John!”

Production on ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 delayed as creator Sam Levinson works on script

The filming of the third season of HBO’s Euphoria has been delayed, as creator Sam Levinson continues to write the upcoming installment’s script. HBO said in a statement to Deadline. ““HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season. In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.”

Per the outlet’s sources, the shoot was expected to begin in the next few months, with HBO and Max Content CE Casey Bloys stating in November that Euphoria S3 would premiere in 2025. However despite news of the delay, the network is still aiming to release the forthcoming season next year.

Season 2 of Euphoria premiered in January 2022, marking a minimum three-year gap between where the show left off and when Season 3 finally debuts.

‘The Bear’ renewed for Season 4, will film directly after Season 3

FX’s ‘The Bear’ will return for a fourth season on Hulu, with the comedy-drama series quietly renewed for Season 4 following its Season 3 renewal last year. The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Seasons 3 and 4 will film back-to-back.

Created by Christopher Storer, The Bear follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a talented young chef who inherits his family’s Chicago sandwich shop and transforms it into his own restaurant. Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott and Matty Matheson also star.

Season 2 of the series was released in June 2023 and won several awards, including Best Comedy at the Primetime Emmy Awards, Best Television Series (Musical or Comedy) at the Golden Globe Awards and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble (Comedy Series) at the SAG Awards.

The Bear was officially renewed for Season 3 in November 2023; and according to Variety, is currently in production.

Ozzy Osbourne to launch internet show ‘The Madhouse Chronicles’

Ozzy Osbourne will be launching a brand new show called ‘The Madhouse Chronicles’ later this month, with co-host Billy Morrison, the rhythm guitarist for Billy Idol’s solo band, and ex-bassist of hard rock/heavy metal band The Cult.

The new series was announced on the ‘The Osbournes’ podcast, co-hosted by Ozzy’s wife/manager Sharon and two of his children, Jack and Kelly. Morrison announced “The Madhouse Chronicles” on the podcast by saying (per Blabbermouth): “Our new show, ‘The Madhouse Chronicles’, is dropping this April. Join us as we sit back in the Osbourne Madhouse, reacting to the wildest internet clips, and diving into topics like aliens, drugs, conspiracies, and rock n’ roll. Visit osbournemediahouse.com for early access, limited edition merch, and more… even the re-release of The Osbournes’ iconic TV show in 4K. Don’t miss out, and see you in the madhouse.”

Morrison promised that the “Madhouse Chronicles” website will offer “the re-release of the iconic Osbournes TV show in 4K”, referencing the reality TV show that starred Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly from 2002 to 2005.

A synopsis per ‘The Osbournes’ podcast reads: “The Osbournes delve into the whirlwind of current events in this episode of their podcast. Aerosmith shares rescheduled dates for ‘Peace Out’ farewell tour

Aerosmith announced rescheduled dates for their ‘Peace Out’ farewell tour, after previously being forced to postpone shows due to frontman Steven Tyler’s vocal injury. The Peace Out tour will resume on Sept. 20 in Pittsburgh, running through Feb. 26, 2025, in Buffalo, N.Y. The Black Crowes will be along for the trek as the band’s special guest.

The band posted on social media: “We’re thrilled to announce new dates for our 2024 PEACE OUT Tour with special guests @theblackcrowes! All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows – you’ll receive more info via email. Tickets for the rescheduled dates & newly added shows go on sale Fri 4/12 @ 10AM local at http://aerosmith.com.”

Aerosmith originally kicked off the ‘Peace Out’ tour in September 2023, and later that month announced they would be rescheduling the remainder of its 2023 tour dates due to Tyler’s recovery, writing on social media: “To our fans: Unfortunately, Steven’s vocal injury is more serious than initially thought. His doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx which requires ongoing care. He is receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential.

Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates, while additional tickets will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time. Head to the band’s official website for information.

Beyoncé becomes 1st black woman to top Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with ‘Cowboy Carter’

Billboard revealed that Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ has reached No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart, making her the first-ever Black female artist to achieve the feat since the chart’s launch in January 1964. In February, Beyoncé became the first-ever Black female artist to top the Hot Country Songs chart with the album’s lead single, “Texas Hold ‘Em.”

Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé’s eighth album, also reached the top spot on the Billboard 200, Americana/Folk Albums and Top Album Sales charts, having sold 407,000 equivalent album units in its first week of chart eligibility. Cowboy Carter claims the biggest week of 2024 and the largest since Taylor Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version), with 1.653 million units on the Nov. 11, 2023-dated list. The feat also marks Beyoncé’s biggest week by units, since her Lemonade album debuted at No. 1 with 653,000 units (mostly from traditional album sales) on the May 14, 2016, chart. The new effort also lands Beyoncé her biggest streaming week ever.

Cowboy Carter was released on March 29, and features “vocalists, musicians, and orators” including Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Linda Martell, Stevie Wonder, Chuck Berry, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Jon Batiste, Rhiannon Giddens, Nile Rodgers, Robert Randolph, Gary Clark, Jr., Willie Jones, Brittney Spencer, Shaboozey, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell and Tiera Kennedy. Additional collaborators on the project include The-Dream, Pharrell Williams, NO I.D., Raphael Saadiq, Ryan Tedder, Ryan Beatty, Swizz Beatz, Khirye Tyler, Derek Dixie, Ink, Nova Wav, Mamii, Cam, Tyler Johnson, Dave Hamelin and Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter.

Architects release the single ‘Curse,’ add dates to North American tour leg

Architects have released their brand new single, “Curse,” produced by Jordan Fisher. The songs the follow-up to “Seeing Red,” their first new material since their 2022 LP, The Classic Symptoms of a Broken Spirit. “Seeing Red” gained over 23 million global streams, and boasted over 1 million streams a week globally since its December 2023 (per AntiMusic).

On Tuesday, the band also confirmed additional dates for a second leg of their North American tour. The band is currently gearing up for the first leg of their North American tour, kicking-off on May 2nd in Toronto with support Of Mice & Men and While She Sleeps. The second leg will feature support from We Came As Romans and Brutus, and is set to begin on September 28th in Indianapolis, IN at the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre.

In addition to their own headlining dates, Architects will be appearing at the ‘Welcome to Rockville’ festival May 9 through May 12 in Daytona Beach, Florida alongside Mötley Crüe, Foo Fighters, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, and more. Architects will also rejoin Metallica this summer for more shows across Europe as part of their ‘M72 World Tour.’

Dream Theater announce 40th Anniversary tour featuring Mike Portnoy

Dream Theater have announced their “40th Anniversary Tour 2024 – 2025”, posting on social media: “We are excited to announce the Europe leg of our 40th Anniversary Tour 2024-25. This tour is going to be incredibly special for all of us! More info on dates, venues and how to get tickets at dreamtheater.net/tour”

The tour, dubbed “An Evening With Dream Theater”, marks the band’s first trek since drummer Mike Portnoy’s return to the lineup joining vocalist James LaBrie, bassist John Myung, guitarist John Petrucci, and keyboardist Jordan Rudess. The just-announced European leg consists of stops in 23 cities and kicks off on October 20th and runs through November 24th.

Dream Theater shared in a statement: This tour is going to be incredibly special for all of us! Each show will surely be filled with anticipation and a variety of emotions. We can’t wait to step on stage together once again and begin this historic celebration of 40 years with everyone this Fall. This is just the beginning, and we will have plenty of more exciting Dream Theater news to share in the coming months.”

‘Barbie The Movie: In Concert™’ North American Tour kicks off this summer

“Barbie The Movie: In Concert™” will hit the road this summer, featuring a live orchestra performing alongside a screening of the film.

Macy Schmidt and the Barbie Land Sinfonietta, an all-women and majority women-of-color orchestra, will perform the Barbie score live at each stop of the 37-city tour, which kicks off on July 2nd in Tampa, Florida. The North American trek will also feature concerts in St. Louis, Denver, Nashville, Toronto, and a previously announced date in Los Angeles.

According to a press release, “the record-smashing film will be projected onto a giant LED screen above The Barbie Land Sinfonietta as they perform the film’s award-winning score. Music lends so much heart and excitement to the Barbie film; between the stunning and clever orchestral score and the upbeat iconic pop soundtrack, music is carrying us through the story. On top of getting to experience the film unlike ever before, Barbie The Movie: In Concert audiences will have the privilege of watching some of the world’s best musicians come together and do what they do best.”

Schmidt said: “Throughout this entire process, I’ve been so inspired by Mattel’s genuine commitment to everything this film stands for. I am particularly excited to be partnering with Mattel as I have long been inspired by Barbie’s purpose statement: ‘To inspire the limitless potential in every girl.’ It couldn’t be more aligned to have an all-women orchestra performing this film, bringing its message to life onstage.”
