Take look at the video for twenty one pilots’ ‘Backslide’ directed by Josh Dun

Twenty One Pilots drummer Josh Dun makes his directorial debut in the just-released video for their song, “Backslide” off their upcoming album, Clancy.

Backslide is the follow-up to the previously-released singles ‘Overcompensate’ and ‘Next Semester,’ and the visual finds singer Tyler Joseph tooling around town on his red and black BMX bike in what appears to be a Groundhog Day-type scenario.  The video also features throwbacks to other moments in the duo’s discography including the bike riding in ‘Stressed Out’, their mascot Ned from the ‘Chlorine’ video, and more.

Last week in a message to fans, frontman Tyler Joseph confirmed that the album’s release would be moving back a week to May 24 in order to allow them to make a music video for every song on the record.  Said Joseph: “When I first told Josh [Dun] and Mark [Eshleman] and everyone on our team that I wanted to do a music video for every song on the album ‘Clancy’ that’s coming up, I told them it’s because I love these songs and I believe in them enough to pretend to sing in front of a camera to each one. And that’s what we’re going to do, because that’s how I want to present this album. But because of that, in order to accomplish that, we need a little bit more time – that’s why I’m making this video. We’re going to push the album back by one week, to May 24th.”

Keanu Reeves to voice Shadow in third ‘Sonic The Hedgehog’ movie

Keanu Reeves has signed on to voice the role of Shadow in Paramount Pictures‘ Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ films are based on the Sega video game franchise. The live-action and animated movies follow Sonic, a blue hedgehog who can run at supersonic speeds. The original film, Sonic the Hedgehog, opened in 2020, while a sequel, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, was released in 2022.

Reeves joins an ensemble led by Ben Schwartz, who plays Sonic. In all three films, James Mardsen plays Sonic’s human ally, Sheriff Tom Wachowski, with Jim Carrey as the mad scientist Dr. Robotnik.

Per Deadline, the character of Shadow – first introduced in the video game Sonic Adventure 2 in 2001 – is a creation of Professor Gerald Robotnik, the grandfather of Sonic’s arch-nemesis, Dr. Robotnik. Possessing extraordinary speed, as well as Chaos Control, a power that allows him to manipulate space and time, he’s initially depicted as an antagonist to Sonic, though in the video games from Sega, he eventually becomes an ally.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is expected to open Dec. 20, 2024.

Justin and Hailey Bieber expecting their first baby together

Justin Bieber and wife Hailey Bieber are expecting their first baby together. Hailey, 27, and Justin, 30, shared the news on Instagram where they posted a video from what looks like a vow renewal, showing Hailey wearing a long white dress and a veil, highlighting her baby bump. Hailey also included photos of herself standing with Justin in a field showing him placing his arms around her stomach.

Hailey’s pregnancy comes nearly six years after the couple were married at a New York City courthouse in September 2018, two months after getting engaged. The pair said “I do” for a second time a year later at a lavish wedding ceremony in Bluffton, South Carolina.

The couple have often spoken about becoming parents, and the rumors that constantly surrounded the subject. In a cover article in GQ Hype in October, Hailey addressed whether pregnancy rumors affected her: “Recently, everybody was like, ‘Oh my God, she’s pregnant,’ and that’s happened to me multiple times before. There is something that’s disheartening about, damn, I can’t be bloated one time and not be pregnant? It would be a lie if I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I don’t give a s—.’ When there comes a day that that is true, you, you as in the internet, will be the last to know.”

According to TMZ, sources with direct knowledge shared that Hailey is a little over six months pregnant.

System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian has announced a new solo EP, ‘Foundations.’  Tankian took to social media to announce the EP, which is due for release sometime in the fall, and revealed the track’s first single, ‘A.F. He also announced his upcoming memoir last year, titled ‘Down with the System’, which promises to be “far more than just a rock ‘n’ roll fable”.  ‘Down with the System’ is set for release on May 14 via Hachette Books.
