The Rolling Stones releasing expanded edition of 1976’s ‘Black and Blue’ album

Ahead of the 50-year anniversary of the Rolling Stones’ ‘Black and Blue’ (1976), the group will drop an expanded reissue of the album, set for release on Nov. 14.

The super deluxe collection will be available as a 5-LP vinyl box set and a 4-CD box set, both of which include a Blu-ray disc, hardback book and replica tour poster. Both feature the original remastered album and previously unreleased studio sessions with Jeff Beck, Harvey Mandel and Billy Preston, while the Blu-ray has a TV broadcast of the band’s 1976 performance at Les Abattoirs in Paris, plus Dolby Atmos surround sound mixes of both the studio album and the Stones’ 1976 Earls Court concert.

The Black and Blue 2025 reissue includes a six-track disc of previously unreleased recordings, including the Mick Jagger/Keith Richards composition “I Love Ladies,” plus a take on Shirley & Company’s “Shame, Shame, Shame” which is available to stream –HERE.

James Taylor to make his Grand Ole Opry debut on November 11

Music icon James Taylor will make his Grand Ole Opry debut Nov. 11 as part of the Opry’s ongoing 100th anniversary celebrations.

George Hamilton IV was the first country artist to champion James Taylor’s music by recording covers of “Carolina in My Mind” in 1969 and “Sweet Baby James” in 1971.  Taylor has also collaborated with country artists over the years including Chris Stapleton, Vince Gill, Lyle Lovett, as well as with Alison Krauss on the song “How’s the World Treating You?” – which earned Taylor a Grammy Award for best country collaboration.

Opry executive producer Dan Rogers shared in a statement: “The Opry has been built over the last 100 years in large part by songwriters and storytellers. To have one of the very best ever with us to celebrate 100 years is amazing to so many of us.”

Taylor will be joined by Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris, with previously announced artists including Scotty Hasting, Jamey Johnson, Craig Morgan and Gary Sinise and the Lieutenant Dan Band during the November 11th performance.

See Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney in the trailer for ‘The Housemaid’

The trailer for the screen adaptation of Frieda McFadden’s best-selling book The Housemaid has been released, directed by Paul Feig and starring Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney.

An official film synopsis states that “the film plunges audiences into a twisted world where perfection is an illusion, and nothing is as it seems  Trying to escape her past, Millie (Sweeney) accepts a job as a live-in housemaid for the wealthy Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew Winchester (Brandon Sklenar). But what begins as a dream job quickly unravels into something far more dangerous — a sexy, seductive game of secrets, scandal, and power. Behind the Winchesters’ closed doors lies a world of shocking twists that will leave you guessing until the very end.” Brandon Sklenar, Michele Morrone and Elizabeth Perkins round out the cast for the film.

Cast of ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ reuniting for 30th anniversary reunion special on CBS

CBS is celebrating 30 years since the premiere of Everybody Loves Raymond with a reunion special, airing Nov. 24 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

The network will host an Everybody Loves Raymond 30th anniversary special, with series star Ray Romano and creator Phil Rosenthal set to host the 90-minute tribute featuring cast members Brad Garrett, Patricia Heaton, Monica Horan, Madylin Sweeten and Sullivan Sweeten.  The cast members will discuss their time making the series together and share previously unseen outtakes from the show.

An official synopsis reads that “the special will also include a moving tribute to Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle, whose unforgettable portrayals of Marie and Frank Barone made them fan favorites and the emotional anchors of the series,” a

Everybody Loves Raymond originally debuted in 1996, and aired for nine seasons before its finale some twenty years ago. The show was an anchor of the CBS Network’s Monday schedule and finished among the 10 highest-rated shows on network TV in six of its remaining eight seasons, with its finale drawing nearly 33 million viewers. The show also won 15 Emmys during its run, including two Emmy for best comedy series.

Oasis to reissue first live album ‘Familiar to Millions’ in celebration of 25th anniversary

Oasis will be marking the 25th anniversary of their first live album, Familiar to Millions, with a special reissue set for release on November 14th. Familiar to Millions captured the band’s legendary Wembley Stadium concert from July 2000.

Fans will be able to purchase the live album as a limited-edition 2-CD set or in a 3-LP package (marking the album’s debut on vinyl). Multiple vinyl versions will be available, including a silver edition from the official Oasis store, a red-and-black marble design from Amazon, and a blue pressing with an alternate sleeve available through HMV.

Additionally, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of What’s the Story, Morning Glory? a deluxe edition was released, featuring new unplugged renditions of five fan favorites—“Cast No Shadow,” “Wonderwall,” “Champagne Supernova,” “Acquiesce,” and “Morning Glory.”

John Malkovich joins Season 2 of Apple TV+ series ‘Bad Monkey’

John Malkovich has joined Season 2 of the Apple TV+ series Bad Monkey as a regular cast member.  Malkovich joins series lead/executive producer Vince Vaughn in the comedy series from showrunner Bill Lawrence.

Lawrence confirmed the news on his Instagram page, alongside a screenshot of a Deadline report regarding Malkovich’s casting.  Season 1 of Bad Monkey was based on Carl Hiaasen’s New York Times bestselling novel, however the second season of the series will be based on a new original story. Malkovich will play Spencer, a powerful Florida crime-lord.

The story in Season 1 of Bad Monkeys revolved around Andrew Yancy (Vaughn), who has been bounced from the Miami Police Department and is now a health inspector in the Keys. But after stumbling upon a case that begins with a human arm fished up by tourists, he realizes that if he can prove murder, he’ll be back in.

Season 1 also starred L. Scott Caldwell, Natalie Martinez, Michelle Monaghan, Alex Moffat, Rob Delaney and Jodie Turner-Smith; with special guest stars John Ortiz, Zach Braff, Ashley Nicole Black, Scott Glenn, and Charlotte Lawrence. There is no official word on which cast members from Season 1 are returning for the second season of the series.

Sylvester Stallone, George Strait, KISS, Michael Crawford and Gloria Gaynor were named this year’s Kennedy Center Honorees.

President Trump announced the recipients’ names, and will also serve as host of the event,  slated for December 7th at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and will air on CBS and Paramount+ at a later date. More details about the ceremony and broadcast are forthcoming.

Guns N’ Roses to reissue their first official live album ‘Live Era 87-93’ on vinyl

Guns N’ Roses has announced the vinyl reissue of their first official live album, Live Era 87-93, set for release on November 21st.

The sets have been newly remastered from the original stereo analog master tapes for the first time since 1999, which was recorded live worldwide between 1987-1993.

The reissue will be available in multiple configurations, including a 4 LP 180-gram black vinyl with slipcase and poster, and a multi-color 4 LP Premium Edition. A deluxe 4 LP edition features revamped artwork with full color graphics, expanded into two premium gatefold jackets housed in an exclusive foil art slipcase, a poster, and an exclusive turntable mat. Pressed on picture disc vinyl, limited to 500 units worldwide, individually numbered and exclusively available via the band’s website.

Additionally, a new line of merch – including a t-shirt, long-sleeve shirt, magnet, lithograph, and mug – are also available.  Head to the band’s webstore for details.

Listen to Bon Jovi and Jelly Roll’s reimagined version of ‘Living Proof’

Bon Jovi has dropped their latest collaboration, “Living Proof,” featuring Jelly Roll.

The song is a reimagined version of the track from the band’s 2024 album, “Forever,” and is featured on their new album “Forever (Legendary Edition).”  The 14-track album features multiple collaborations with artists such as Bruce Springsteen, James Bay, Lainey Wilson, Robbie Williams and Avril Lavigne, among others.

In a statement, Jon Bon Jovi shared that the album was inspired by his vocal cord surgery and subsequent rehab: “I was singing well enough in the studio for the recording, but the vocal demands and rigors of touring were still out of reach for me. Without the ability to tour or promote an album we were all very proud of, I decided to call on some friends to help me in my time of need.”
