Foo Fighters to hold 2026 benefit concert in LA to support homeless and food-insecure communities

The Foo Fighters are holding a one-night-only benefit concert on January 14, 2026, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, to support LA’s homeless and food-insecure communities.

The concert hopes to raise money and awareness for Hope the Mission and the Los Angeles Mission, two organizations that provide services for the homeless and food-insecure; with the show also marking Dave Grohl’s 57th birthday. Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission are two charities with which Grohl and his wife, Jordyn, have long been aligned.

In-person-only pre-sale for tickets begin on December 7, 2025, starting at 12 p.m. PT. at the Kia Forum box office. Tickets are limited to four, per person, with payment by physical credit or debit cards only (no cash or digital wallets). No lines are permitted before 8 a.m. PT on Sunday, December 7.

Attendees of the pre-sale are encouraged to bring donations including:

  • Socks and underwear (male, female, adults, children, all sizes—new/packaged only)
    Dried pinto beans (bagged)
    Pasta—spaghetti, macaroni (bagged or boxed)
    Dried rice (bagged)
(NO canned goods or perishable items)

Grohl said in a press release, “What better way to spend my 57th birthday than making a bunch of noise with a bunch of friends for a good cause. This ain’t just a big ass rock show, it’s a big ass party with a heart. Turn up the volume, turn up the hope, but most of all….TURN UP. The best gift is TO GIVE. Can’t friggin wait x.”

Rowan Vansleve, President of Hope the Mission, added: “This concert will be more than just a celebration. We’re incredibly grateful to partner with the band. Foo Fighters and their fans have a reputation of always stepping up to help when people need it, and this concert will be no different.”

Further monetary proceeds will be donated to both organizations. For those unable to attend the donation drive or the show, more information about how to help the aforementioned causes can be found on their website(s).

Miley Cyrus confirms engagement to longtime boyfriend Maxx Morando

After news broke earlier in the week that Miley Cyrus was engaged to longtime boyfriend Maxx Morando, the singer has confirmed the happy news.

Cyrus, 33, said during an interview on Good Morning America: “My life has been perfectly aligned with the release of Avatar, my personal life — those two things kind of, I guess you could say marrying each other and harmonizing with one another.”

Cyrus recently released the song “Dream as One” for the new film ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash,’ which she co-wrote and co-produced with Andrew Wyatt and Mark Ronson. Engagement rumors began to swirl after the couple arrived at the film’s premiere and posed for photos together on the red carpet, where Cyrus could be seen wearing a glittery ring on THAT finger.

Morando, 27, proposed during the couple’s recent trip to Asia, according to Cyrus. She said: “I actually had never gone to Japan, which, I did that purposefully. I wanted one place in the world that could be my special place that I saved for me. I am not easy to surprise because I love to control every situation, and I had completely surrendered. And I’m telling you, I was so, so surprised.”

The singer also told People in an interview: “The detail that I can share is that for us, our privacy and us kind of keeping it small has been something that I’ve been astounded that I’ve actually been able to have and being able to kind of have more choice. I think it’s also being older, being more protective of what I’m open to sharing.”

Cyrus added that Morando “did good” with her engagement ring, a 14-carat cushion-cut diamond set on a chunky, 14-karat yellow gold band designed by Jacquie Achie.

The Pretty Reckless share video for ‘Where Are You Christmas?’

The Pretty Reckless have released the video for their rock-reimagined version of “Where Are You Christmas?,” the beloved holiday classic that frontwoman Taylor Momsen first performed as Cindy Lou Who in the 2000 film How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

The reimagined track finds the Momsen singing a ‘duet’ alongside her voice as a child. The song is featured as part of a six-song EP titled Taylor Momsen’s Pretty Reckless Christmas, featuring four original holiday tunes, released October 31st digitally and November 14th physically.

The rock-reimagined version of “Where Are You Christmas?” is the first time Momsen has revisited the track since The Grinch’s release 25 years ago; she shared: “Revisiting ‘Where Are You Christmas’ 25 years later feels like coming home to a part of myself I hadn’t seen in a long time. I was just a child when I first sang it, and I never could’ve imagined the way the song, and the film, would stay with people for so long and unknowingly shape my career path as an adult. Recording it now, with all the life I’ve lived in between, I hear it through a different lens.. but the heart of it is the same. It’s about wonder, hope, and holding on to the magic – something I think we all need more than ever.”

The video for the song opens with a throwback clip of Jay Leno announcing Momsen’s appearance on The Tonight Show (during the original release of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas), and later sees Momsen duet with her childhood self before breaking into the reimagined version of the beloved holiday song.
