Bruce Springsteen announces 2026 North America run with “Land of Hope & Dreams” tour

Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band will return to American arenas this spring with their 20-date “Land of Hope & Dreams” tour.   The current E Street lineup features: Roy Bittan, Nils Lofgren, Patti Scialfa, Garry Tallent, Stevie Van Zandt, and Max Weinberg, along with Soozie Tyrell, Jake Clemons, and Charlie Giordano; they will also be joined on tour by the E Street Horns, the E Street Choir, and percussionist Anthony Almonte.

Announcing the trek, Springsteen said: “We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times, but do not despair — the cavalry is coming!” He added, “We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America — American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution and our sacred American dream.”

The tour kicks-off March 31 in Minneapolis and concluding May 27 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. The routing includes stops in Portland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Boston.

The upcoming concerts mark the band’s first North American shows since 2024. In 2025, they launched the tour overseas, performing for more than 700,000 fans across Europe and issuing a live EP recorded on opening night in Manchester, England. Those shows leaned heavily into politically charged material and pointed onstage commentary, continuing a trend that has become central to Springsteen’s recent performances.

Tickets go on sale February 21 at noon local time via Ticketmaster.

Oscar-winning actor Robert Duvall dies at age 95

Robert Duvall, the Oscar-winning performer who starred in classic films including The Godfather, Apocalypse Now and Tender Mercies, has died at 95.  Duvall passed away peacefully at his home in Middleburg, Virginia, on Sunday, according to statements shared by his wife, Luciana. TMZ was the first outlet to report the news of Duvall’s passing.

In a statement, Luciana wrote: “Yesterday we said goodbye to my beloved husband, cherished friend, and one of the greatest actors of our time. Bob passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love and comfort.” She added, “To the world, he was an Academy Award-winning actor, a director, a storyteller. To me, he was simply everything.” No formal memorial is planned. Instead, his family suggests honoring him by watching a favorite film, sharing stories over a meal, or taking a quiet drive through the countryside — simple pleasures that reflected the way he lived.

Born in San Diego on Jan. 5, 1931, Duvall grew up largely in Annapolis, Maryland, where his father served as a U.S. Navy rear admiral. Though his father hoped he would pursue a military path, Duvall discovered his calling in performance. After studying drama at Principia College and serving two years in the Army, he moved to New York to train at Sanford Meisner’s Neighborhood Playhouse. Among his classmates and lifelong friends were Dustin Hoffman and Gene Hackman. Playwright Horton Foote recognized his talent onstage and recommended him for the silent but haunting role of Boo Radley in To Kill a Mockingbird — Duvall’s film debut. The performance signaled the arrival of a serious new talent.

Through the late 1960s and ’70s, he built a reputation as a versatile character actor in films such as Bullitt, True Grit and M*A*S*H.  Director Francis Ford Coppola cast him as Tom Hagen in The Godfather and its 1974 sequel, a role that earned Duvall Academy Award nominations for both films. He later reunited with Coppola for Apocalypse Now, delivering the now-legendary line, “I love the smell of napalm in the morning,” in a scene famously completed in a single take.

Other films in which Duvall’s performances received Oscar nominations were The Great Santini, The Apostle (which he also wrote, directed and financed), A Civil Action and The Judge.  In total, Duvall received seven Oscar nominations over his career- finally winning the Best Actor award for the 1983 classic ‘Tender Mercies’, in which portrayed a washed-up country singer seeking redemption — a role for which he also performed his own songs. On television, the actor earned multiple Emmy nominations and won twice for the Western miniseries Broken Trail.

Across seven decades, Duvall moved easily between blockbusters and independent films, with credits ranging from Network and Days of Thunder, to Sling Blade, Widows, and Hustle.  He never formally stepped away from acting, appearing in roles into his 90s,  He continued working and credited his enduring energy to his wife and close friends. When asked what he appreciated most about reaching that milestone, he replied, “Love the most? I don’t know if I love any of it, but day to day with my wonderful wife.”

Duvall was married four times and is survived by his wife, actor and director Luciana Pedraza, whom he wed in 2005.

‘Twenty One Pilots: More Than We Ever Imagined’ concert film coming to IMAX theaters February 26

Twenty One Pilots have announced a new concert film called More Than We Ever Imagined, debuting in cinemas and IMAX on February 26th.

The film will chronicle the duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun as they played a career-defining show in Mexico City to 65,000 fans at a sold-out stadium during ‘The Clancy World Tour’. As well as capturing their high-energy live performance, the project also incorporates a blend of behind-the-scenes moments, too, and shows the members as they gear up for one of the biggest shows of their career.

Director Mark C. Eshleman said in a statement: “I have spent the better part of the last 16 years of my life following Twenty One Pilots around the world. I have seen them play clubs that were in the basements of bigger clubs for an audience made up of only the other bands on the bill. For ‘More Than We Ever Imagined,’ we were given the opportunity to capture two perspectives of a Twenty One Pilots performance. Over 20 cameras centered around the fans experiencing their show and, the second, the perspective I have had all these years leading up to that sold out stadium in Mexico City, a camera following Tyler and Josh as they take the fundamentals of their show and apply to one of the biggest stages.”

Per Deadline, Coolidge and Scherzinger’s roles remain under wraps, but the project will see Scherzinger reunite with her fellow former Pussycat Dolls member Ashley Roberts, who is part of the film’s fictional band ‘Girlfriends’ alongside Wilson. See the trailer for Anderson .Paak’s directorial debut ‘K-POPS!’

The trailer for Anderson .Paak’s directorial debut, K-Pops! was released, which is written, directed, and stars the Grammy-winning artist.

The film follows musician BJ (.Paak) and his quest for stardom. The film’s synopsis reads: “On his journey to revive his music career, BJ lands a gig with a house band in Seoul for a K-pop competition show. While working on the show, he discovers his long lost son, Tae Young (Paak’s real-life teen son, Soul Rasheed) is also chasing stardom. Additional cast members include Jee Young Han, Jon “Dumbfoundead” Park, Yvette Nicole Brown, Cathy Shim, Kevin Woo.

.Paak shares of the film: “Welcome to K-POPS!, a fun, light-hearted film born from my love for music and inspired by my family while we were quarantined during the pandemic. During that time, I spent a lot of time with my son, Soul, learned more about him, his interests and his dreams of being involved in the K-pop world (inspired by his mom’s love for BTS). I started to tap into what I was learning about my family and thought, ‘Maybe there’s something here, maybe it could be fun to develop a script around what I’m discovering about my son and myself as a father.’”

.Paak adds: “K-Pops! marks my directorial debut and I learned so much about film through this process. Sure, I’ve directed music videos, which helped prepare me going into the process, but I learned so much more because of the incredible teams that took care of me along the way, including Stampede Ventures, Live Nation Productions, Big Dummie and EST Studios. They showed me how to approach directing a film and how to work efficiently. I can honestly say, you can’t do this without a brilliant team behind you. This project was one of the toughest things for me to complete but it’s also the most rewarding and creatively fulfilling. I don’t think I’ve been able to showcase artistry like this in my career so far and I think I owe that to the work I did with Soul and the team on this film.”

The film also features original music with DemJointz. Paak said: “I worked alongside the incredible DemJointz to create some original music based around the fictional competition show you see in the film. He was vital to the creation of these songs because he works heavily in the K-pop world and has churned out a lot of hits in that genre – he’s brilliant. We had a great time digging into my archive of music and building off of original ideas to utilize for the soundtrack. I feel like K-Pops! showcases some dope, exclusive music from Anderson Paak that is infused with K-pop and I can’t wait for people to hear it. I also had the opportunity to work with iconic K-pop artists that I’ve been looking to collaborate with for years like Suga (from BTS), Vernon (from Seventeen), Crush, The Rose, Jessi and G-Dragon. The fact that I get to do these collaborations in my directorial debut and bring these idols and artists into the world of K-POPS! just brings a whole new level of excitement to the project.”

K-Pops! is set to hit AMC theaters nationwide on February 27th. See the trailer – HERE.

Ghost shares cover of Pet Shop Boys’ ‘It’s a Sin’

Ghost has officially made their cover of the Pet Shop Boys classic “It’s a Sin” available on streaming platforms for the first time. The track had previously been limited to a 7-inch vinyl bonus included with deluxe versions of the band’s 2018 album Prequelle. Its wider release fulfills co-writer Neil Tennant’s long-standing belief that “’It’s a Sin’, at its heart, is a heavy metal record.”

The announcement was revealed through the latest installment of Ghost’s ongoing mythology series on YouTube, specifically Episode 24: Frater Is Delegating, which revisits the Frater Imperator era when the song first appeared as a bonus release.

The Grammy-winning Swedish rock group has a history of reimagining well-known songs, most recently with their 2023 covers EP Phantomime, which featured interpretations of tracks by Iron Maiden, Genesis, and Tina Turner. Their latest studio album, Skeletá, arrived in 2025.

Ghost is also wrapping up the latest leg of their Skeletour World Tour, which launched on January 21 at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, before wrapping up on February 23 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
