50 Cent joins cast of Eva Longoria’s comedy “The Fifth Wheel” starring Kim Kardashian

50 Cent is expanding his entertainment career by joining the cast of The Fifth Wheel, an upcoming comedy for Netflix directed by Eva Longoria. The project also features Kim Kardashian, Nikki Glaser, and Brenda Song among its ensemble cast.

According to TMZ, 50 Cent spent time filming scenes over two days in Los Angeles, working alongside the cast at Exchange LA. While details about his character have not been confirmed, sources say his participation in the production is quite active, and he is expected to appear on screen rather than remain behind the scenes.

The film centers on Kardashian’s character, described as the “hot outsider” who unexpectedly joins a reunion trip in Las Vegas where a group of high school friends are trying to reconnect for a weekend getaway. The comedy also includes performances from actors such as Jack Whitehall, Casey Wilson, and Scott MacArthur.

The role marks another step in 50 Cent’s growing film and television portfolio. Beyond his 2005 debut in Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and later appearances in movies like Southpaw, Den of Thieves, and Expend4bles, he has also built a major production career, particularly through executive producing the Power universe.

He is also slated to take on a role in an upcoming ‘Street Fighter’ (film adaptation) project, further highlighting his crossover work between music, film, and gaming entertainment.

Puscifer share music video for “Bad Wolf”

Puscifer has released the official video for its latest single, “Bad Wolf,” coinciding with the arrival of the band’s new album Normal Isn’t, out now. The animated clip was directed by AF Schepperd and premieres alongside the trio’s first full-length project in five years.

Keenan drew thematic inspiration for “Bad Wolf” from folklore. “Oral Tradition, the practice of passing down legends, myths, and metaphors, has always fascinated me,” he said. “The stories contain history, important lessons, values, social contracts and the like. One of my favorites has always been the Cherokee tale of the Two Wolves. This story serves as a metaphor for our inner battle between good/wise/loving choices and poor/selfish/hateful choices. The wolf that thrives is the wolf you feed.”

Normal Isn’t reunites Maynard James Keenan, Mat Mitchell, and Carina Round, and also includes contributions from Greg Edwards on bass, Gunnar Olsen and Sarah Jones on drums, with additional appearances by Tony Levin, Danny Carey. Written and recorded in Arizona, Los Angeles, and during last year’s Sessanta tour, the album keeps the band’s signature dark electronic textures and wit but adopts a looser, more urgent creative approach. As Mitchell explained, the group aimed for something rawer and more aggressive by stripping away limitations and letting the guitars lead. He also noted the broader perspective behind the album’s title: “Normal Isn’t reflects this time we are living in. As storytellers and artists, our job is to observe, interpret, and report. We take in our environment and share what we see, and what we see around us does not appear normal. Not by a long shot.”

In addition to the album release, the band hosted more than 90 screenings at independent record stores for its new concert film, Normal Isn’t: Puscifer Live at the Pacific Stock Exchange. The movie captures the first live performance of the album, staged inside Los Angeles’ historic former stock exchange building—an art deco landmark often rumored to be haunted. The performance showcases tracks such as “Self Evident,” “ImpetuoUs,” and “Bad Wolf,” brought to life by Keenan, Round, Mitchell, Gunnar Olsen, and Josh Moreau. The film is now available for home viewing through the band’s website.

Van Halen’s ‘5150’ marks 40 years with expansive anniversary collection

Van Halen is celebrating four decades of 5150 with a newly expanded edition of the landmark album that introduced the band’s chapter with Sammy Hagar. The anniversary release arrives March 27—just days after the record’s official 40th birthday—and is available for preorder now.

Originally released in 1986 as the group’s first studio effort following the departure of David Lee Roth, 5150 launched what fans often call the “Van Hagar” period. The album produced major hits including “Why Can’t This Be Love?” and “Dreams,” helping it top the charts and usher in a new sound for the band.

The 40th anniversary package will be offered as an LP/three-CD/Blu-ray box set. The original album has been remastered from the source tapes under the supervision of longtime engineer Donn Landee. Alongside the refreshed studio tracks, the collection features roughly 90 minutes of previously unheard live material captured during the band’s Aug. 27, 1986 performance in New Haven, Connecticut.

One highlight from that concert—an electrifying live take on “Summer Nights”—is available now as a preview. The same show also served as the basis for the band’s 1986 concert film, which receives a high-definition Blu-ray upgrade as part of the new set. Additional bonuses include rare single edits, extended 12-inch versions, and the original promotional clips for “Dreams” and “Why Can’t This Be Love.”

2026 Met Gala theme revealed, with Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams to co-host

The Metropolitan Museum of Art has unveiled the concept for its 2026 Met Gala, revealing that this year’s May 4 fundraiser will center on the theme “Fashion Is Art.”

The 2026 gala will be led by an impressive group of co-chairs: Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and longtime event architect Anna Wintour. Beyoncé’s involvement marks her return to the benefit after a decade. Philanthropists Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez will sponsor both the gala and the exhibition and serve as honorary chairs.

In addition, the host committee will feature a lineup of style-savvy names, including Zoë Kravitz, Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Teyana Taylor, Misty Copeland, and Lena Dunham, among others. Vogue’s Chloe Malle will take on official hosting duties as a member of the 2026 host committee, joining Wintour on the Met steps.

The annual event will raise funds for the Costume Institute and celebrate its upcoming spring exhibition, Costume Art, while also debuting The Met’s newly built, nearly 12,000-square-foot gallery space located beside the Great Hall. The exhibition will be open to the public from May 10 through Jan. 10 and marks the Costume Institute’s first presentation in the Condé M. Nast Galleries.

Andrew Bolton, the curator in charge of the Costume Institute, shared insight into the vision behind the show. “For The Costume Institute’s inaugural exhibition in the Condé M. Nast Galleries, I wanted to focus on the centrality of the dressed body within the Museum, connecting artistic representations of the body with fashion as an embodied art form. Rather than prioritizing fashion’s visuality, which often comes at the expense of the corporeal, Costume Art privileges its materiality and the indivisible connection between our bodies and the clothes we wear. The opening of the new Galleries will mark a pivotal moment for the department, one that acknowledges the critical role that fashion plays not only within art history but also within contemporary culture. I am grateful to Max for his support and to the generous donors to the Galleries for their belief in fashion’s transformative possibilities.”

In keeping with the exhibition’s concept, the evening’s dress code—also titled “Fashion Is Art”—invites attendees to think of their bodies as a creative canvas and to explore the relationship between garment and form. Bolton previously noted that the idea reflects fashion’s presence throughout the museum, linking every department through the concept of the dressed body.

Although the Met Gala is known for its carefully defined themes, Wintour has previously shared that she rarely knows exactly what guests will wear until they arrive at the museum’s iconic staircase—leaving plenty of room for surprise when fashion’s biggest night unfolds.

Sequel to ‘The Housemaid’ set for 2026 production, Sydney Sweeney to return

Lionsgate is moving ahead with The Housemaid’s Secret, the follow-up to its holiday thriller The Housemaid, with cameras expected to roll in 2026. The sequel adapts the second installment in Freida McFadden’s bestselling trilogy and has quietly been in development for several months.

The original film, led by Sydney Sweeney as Millie, was a major commercial success, earning more than $75 million domestically and $133 million worldwide in just over two weeks against a $35 million budget. The strong box office and online buzz quickly convinced the studio to continue Millie’s story. Michele Morrone is expected to reprise his role as Enzo, with Sweeney also returning as star and executive producer. Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar and Elizabeth Perkins rounded out the cast of the first film.

In “The Housemaid,” Sweeney played Millie, a young woman attempting to outrun her troubled past who takes a live-in job with affluent couple Nina and Andrew Winchester, only to uncover unsettling secrets. Morrone portrayed the family’s groundskeeper, who becomes one of Millie’s few allies. The film’s end credits, set to Taylor Swift’s song “I Did Something Bad” from Reputation, hint at the character’s next chapter.

For the sequel, screenwriter Rebecca Sonnenshine is returning to adapt McFadden’s novel. Producers Todd Lieberman, Paul Feig and Laura Fischer are also back, with Feig once again directing. Sweeney and McFadden will executive produce alongside Hidden Pictures’ Carly Elter and Alex Young.

Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson said: “It’s clear from both the global box office and from the outpouring on social media that audiences have responded strongly — and audibly — to the totally unique and truly theatrical experience of The Housemaid and want to know what happens next. We believed in these stories from the very beginning, and we are beyond excited to bring the next chapter of Millie’s story to life on-screen in collaboration with our outstanding creative partners Todd, Paul, Laura, Carly, Alex, and Sydney. ‘The Housemaid’s Secret’ is another wildly thrilling book in Freida’s series that has captivated readers worldwide, and we look forward to translating it into a similarly rousing and riotous moviegoing experience.”

Feig added, “It’s been thrilling to see audiences around the world fall in love with ‘The Housemaid’ and the incredible work of our talented cast and crew. We’re lucky that Freida McFadden has already extended Millie’s journey on the page, and that we get to work with Rebecca Sonnenshine and Lionsgate to bring this next story to audiences.”

‘The Comeback’ returns for third and final season on HBO, premiering March 22

After years away, The Comeback is making its return to HBO — with the revival marking the end of Valerie Cherish’s story.

The beloved cult comedy, led by Lisa Kudrow, is set to premiere its third and concluding season on March 22 at 10:30 p.m. ET on HBO, with episodes available to stream on HBO Max. The eight-episode season will air weekly, leading up to the series finale on May 10.

First introduced in 2005 and revived once before in 2014, the mockumentary-style series chronicles Kudrow’s wonderfully misguided sitcom actress Valerie Cherish as she tirelessly — and often awkwardly — chases fame in Hollywood. Now, more than two decades after audiences first met her, Valerie is stepping back into the spotlight for a final chapter.

In the upcoming season, Valerie secures what appears to be her big break: the lead role in a new sitcom called ‘How’s That?!’, along with an executive producer title. However, her enthusiasm quickly fades when she learns the show’s scripts are being generated by artificial intelligence, setting the stage for another painfully funny round of showbiz misadventures.

The series was co-created by Kudrow and Michael Patrick King, who continue as executive producers alongside John Melfi and Dan Bucatinsky. Bucatinsky also returns on screen, with Laura Silverman and Damian Young reprising their roles. Additional cast members this season include Tim Bagley, Matt Cook, Jack O’Brien, Ella Stiller, John Early, Barry Shabaka Henley, Abbi Jacobson, Tony Macht, Brittany O’Grady, Zane Phillips, Julian Stern and Andrew Scott.

Following each episode, viewers can stream the show’s official HBO companion video podcast on HBO Max. Hosted by Evan Ross Katz, the series will feature conversations with Kudrow and King, along with appearances from cast members and other guests, offering behind-the-scenes insights and a closer look at Valerie Cherish’s enduring legacy.

Bring Me The Horizon announce one-night-only concert at Hollywood Palladium

Bring Me The Horizon is set to perform a rare, one-night-only concert at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on April 23, before the band launches its upcoming North American arena tour.

The special performance, described by the group as a “DLC Expansion Pack,” will serve as a warm-up for their Ascension Program 2 tour, which officially begins April 28 in Toronto. Metalcore band Dying Wish will open the Los Angeles show.

After the Los Angeles performance, Bring Me The Horizon will begin the North American leg of the tour with support from Motionless In White, The Plot In You and Amira Elfeky. The run includes stops in cities such as Montreal, New York City, Baltimore, Nashville, St. Louis and Saint Paul before wrapping on May 16. The band will also appear at major festivals including Sick New World, Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple.

The Palladium performance arrives just days before the group’s global cinema event, L.I.V.E. In São Paulo (Live Immersive Virtual Experiment). The film captures the band’s sold-out show at Allianz Parque in São Paulo. The immersive concert experience will screen in more than 1,200 theaters across 42 countries on March 25 and 28, blending multi-camera footage, drone shots, and fan recordings to expand the band’s dystopian Post Human universe.

Tickets will first be offered through a presale for fans in the Los Angeles area who are signed up to the band’s mailing list. That presale runs March 12 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. PT, while general ticket sales begin March 13 at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster. To discourage resale markups, the band will use Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange system, meaning tickets cannot be transferred and may only be resold at their original price.

Kanye West sets SoFi Stadium show ahead of release of new album ‘Bully’

Kanye West is preparing for a major return to the U.S. stage with a newly announced concert at SoFi Stadium on April 3.

The performance is being promoted as the rapper’s “only performance in Los Angeles” as he gears up to release his upcoming album, Bully, his 12th studio project. Fans hoping to attend can pre-register through West’s website by pre-saving the album on their preferred streaming platform. According to the site, “A few lucky pre-registrants will be selected to receive free tickets.” Presale access began Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time, followed by a general ticket release the next day (head HERE.)

The show is also being framed as a “Homecoming” event for West, who spent many years living in the Los Angeles area during his marriage to ex-wife Kim Kardashian. While he has performed internationally in recent years — including appearances in Mexico City as well as concerts in China and South Korea since 2024 — large-scale U.S. performances have been rare. His most recent appearance at SoFi Stadium came during the 2024 Rolling Loud event, where he appeared alongside Ty Dolla Sign for a listening session tied to their collaborative album Vultures 1.

The upcoming performance coincides with renewed attention surrounding Bully, which has faced multiple delays and is now expected to arrive later this month. Much of the project was reportedly created while West lived in relative isolation in Tokyo, who is said to have taken a” hands-on role” in producing much of the record himself.

The album rollout follows a period of controversy surrounding Ye. In January, he published a full-page statement in The Wall Street Journal addressing past antisemitic comments and other behavior that sparked backlash. In the message, he wrote: “It does not excuse what I did though. I am not a Nazi or an antisemite. I love Jewish people.” He also expressed regret toward Black supporters, writing, “I am so sorry to have let you down .. My words as a leader in my community have global impact and influence. In my mania, I lost complete sight of that. As I find my new baseline and new center through an effective regime of medication, therapy, exercise, and clean living, I have newfound, much-needed clarity. I am pouring my energy into positive, meaningful art: music, clothing, design, and other new ideas to help the world … I’m not asking for sympathy, or a free pass, though I aspire to earn your forgiveness. I write today simply to ask for your patience and understanding as I find my way home.”

Yungblud releases second installment of concept album ‘Idols II’

Yungblud is extending the story of his acclaimed album Idols with the release of Idols II. The follow-up project adds six new tracks, including a collaboration with The Smashing Pumpkins on their Grammy-nominated “Zombie,” and previews the lead single, “Suburban Requiem.”

Yungblud shares: “This is it. The second chapter of the Idols story. Part 1 was a journey that helped me reclaim my identity from the darkest position I’ve ever been in my life. Part 2 is about realising that I am alive, that I am real, that this journey that I’ve been on didn’t kill me. It’s about realising that you can feel invincible when you actually feel yourself. It’s about comprehending that my heart is beating and that my lungs are filling up with air,”

Fans can also look forward to physical editions later this year, including a Yungblud store-exclusive Idols (Complete) 2LP vinyl and CD featuring all 19 tracks from both albums, as well as a silver transparent Idols II vinyl with new artwork.

Idols, released in June 2025, marked Yungblud’s third consecutive UK No. 1 album. He followed that with One More Time, a collaboration with Aerosmith that became the band’s first UK chart-topping album. His global recognition includes a Grammy for Best Rock Performance for “Changes” at Black Sabbath’s ‘Back to the Beginning’ concert.

In 2026, Yungblud will kick off a sold-out UK arena tour, culminating in a headline show at The O2 Arena, London on April 24, before embarking on a North American tour in May.
