Take a look at Machine Gun Kelly in trailer for the film ‘Taurus’

The trailer for the upcoming music industry drama Taurus has been released, starring Machine Gun Kelly — the musician otherwise known as Colson Baker.

MGK plays Cole, ‘a depressed musician on the verge of self-destructing amid his seemingly glamorous L.A. lifestyle.’ As events in the trailer grow increasingly bleak, Cole begins writing new music; he says “I want it to sound far from everything … Like everything’s upside down.”  Taurus also stars MGK’s real-life fiancée Megan Fox as well as Maddie Hasson, Scoot McNairy and Ruby Rose and will feature a soundtrack of new music by Kelly.

Earlier this month, MGK wrapped up the European leg of his Mainstream Sellout Tour with a show in Amsterdam. This December, he’s slated to play at Tampa, Fla.’s MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre before hitting the stage at Audacy Beach Festival 2022 in Fort Lauderdale.

Disturbed share their new single ‘Divisive’

Disturbed have released a lyric video for their brand new single, “Divisive.”  The song is the title track to their forthcoming album, which will debut on November 18th.

Frontman David Draiman had this to say about the song, “The title track and the title itself are indicative of the incredibly f***ed up state of things we are living in. It’s about how hyper-polarity has influenced everything people do in life. People are addicted to outrage. They’re addicted to finding the next thing that will piss them off so they can rave about it on social media. Everything negative was given a shot of steroids.”

Guitarist Dan Donegan added, “David was in the room listening to me play the riff, and he fell in love with it instantly. It was one of the early musical ideas. It’s fun to be face-to-face, because we can feed off of each other and we see the level of excitement.”

Imagine Dragons shares new video for ‘Bones’ remix

Imagine Dragons are sharing a ‘Halloween’ themed video for the remix of their single “Bones”, from German electronic group Twocolors. The new black and white visual for the Bones remix pays homage to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video.

Lead singer Dan Reynolds said in a statement about the original Thriller video:  “I’ve always loved that ‘Thriller’ was both scary and playful. I didn’t know as a kid if I wanted to watch it again or not for fear of the ensuing nightmares, but I always came back for more with my eyes half-closed. The idea of punishing Wall Street with a zombie infection felt like an enjoyable time. And it was.”

Regarding the song ‘Bones,’ Reynolds says: “‘Bones’ is a reflection of my constant obsession with the finality and fragility of life. I’m alway in search of some evidence that will convince me that there is more to come — that life is truly eternal in some sense. Having yet to find that, I try to at least dream of what conquering death would feel like in a song.”
