Filming To Begin On ‘Black Panther 2’ To Begin in July 2021

The sequel to the Marvel film Black Panther will begin filming in Atlanta next July. The sequel was temporarily put on hold after the death of Chadwick Boseman, who played the titular superhero. According to The Hollywood Reporter, initially the plan was to start production in March 2021.

Actor Tenoch Huerta is in talks to play one of the antagonists. Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke and Angela Bassett are expected to return for the next chapter, with many hinting that Wright’s character Shuri may take on a more prominent role.

There has been no update yet on who might take over late Boseman’s role and neither has the studio revealed its plans on how they will proceed without Boseman, although they have indicated that they will not use CGI to include the late star in the film. Boseman portrayed Black Panther and his alter ego, T’Challa, in the 2018 film. He was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016 and in August, the actor died at home in Los Angeles, with his wife and family members by his side.

Metallica’s Lars Ulrich Says Band Is Working On Writing For Upcoming New Album

Metallica drummer/cofounder Lars Ulrich said during an appearance on Rolling Stone’s Musicians On Musicians series that the band is a few weeks into the serious writing for the follow up to their 2016 album “Hardwired… To Self-Destruct”.

Chatting with folk artist Phoebe Bridges, Ulrich shared, “We’re three, four weeks into some pretty serious writing. And of all the sh*t, pandemics, fires, politics, race problems, and just f***ing looking at the state of the world, it’s so easy just to so fall into a depressive state. But writing always makes me feel enthusiastic about what’s next. It’s like, ‘f***, there’s an opportunity here to still make the best record, to still make a difference. To still do something that not even turns other people on, but turns me on.'”

It’s includes two 22″ bass drums with chrome wrap including the original head, blue resonant heads each with the large silver Rush logo and “Neil” painted on one with “Peart” on the other. There’s also two 13″ Tom Toms with chrome wrap and a 14″ Tom Tom with chrome wrap and with the original head signed by Peart. Each of these three Toms come with a Set-O-Matic mount. The kit also has a 16″ Floor Tom with chrome wrap, and a set of four concert Toms with copper wrap in 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″. All of these come with three-play shells of maple, poplar and mahogany.

Peart purchased the kit in late July / early August of 1974 and it was placed into storage in 1977, later donated by Peart for a Modern Drummer giveaway in 1987. The set was awarded to drummer Mark Feldman, who eventually sold the kit to the present owner.
